“I am ten years old, and I'm in fifth grade. Last year, I was below reading level, but thanks to the Read and Shine program, things turned around, and now I'm at my grade's reading level! The program helped me improve my reading and writing skills with fun activities that made learning enjoyable. I always looked forward to going and meeting new people — I even made a lot of new friends. One of my favorite memories was visiting the Dunkin Library, where we got our own library cards to check out books! We also did a play about Moses, and I got to play Moses and teach everyone the Ten Commandments. The Read and Shine program showed us all the fun ways we can learn and grow.”
